The rowing project is a simulation that allows a player to appreciate the surrounding landscape by boating the virtual landscape. The boat can be handled easily because the player directly moves the boat, taking the existing rowing motion as it is and applying it to the controller.

 

Indeed, each course has different entertainment contents, the players will feel pleasure during boat travel. The interface is applied to racing game design so that players can read information as much as possible.

Tutorial for moving: Speed: 
if the player turns the boat, the speed decreases, and 
if the player rows straight forward, speed increases. 

Turning: if the player uses only the left row, the boat will turn to the left

Obstacle

Avoid the rocks by using 
the rows to turn; 

if the boat hits a rock, the boat stops moving

StoryBoard

Before the game starts, the tutorial informs the player of the world, route, and how to use the controller. The direction of the boat with illustrations and simple instructions helps him to accept the game rules. Press the right-hand controller button to go to the next page, and the left-hand controller shows the previous page.

After the tutorial, the player can move the boat using controllers. The boat can move forward the power of wave, and the player can control the direction with a right-left curve with rows (back is difficult).

When using only the right controller, the boat turns to the right, which is suitable for avoiding rocks in the second course, where there are many obstacles. When the row causes friction with the water, the water wave and natural reflections are visualized.

Boat Traveling Scene

When the player gets lost, look at 
the navigation map at the bottom of the boat to find it. The boat's current location is indicated as a red dot, supporting the player driving the boat from the start to the end.

Whenever the player pushes the water to express the interaction of the boat's movement and water, the natural sound effect and the boat's sound are harmonized, so he can enjoy the interaction to VR.
