An exhibition design concept that advocates education entertains and encourages discussions in the context of freedom of speech and history of journalism.
Concept
Open Space
The center is designed as an open space by focusing on the subject context of freedom of speech and the history of journalism. By composing a place where communication and discussion are possible, freedom is realized in an equal relationship between past and present, inside and outside, and between presenter and audience.
Our design started from the core idea that how can we create an open space that invites everyone in.
Diverse ways to use the museum bring more visitors and participants.
Moving the entrance to a more central location opens possibilities.

In the space right next to it, there is an equipment exhibition space, where printers and typewriters used to print type are on display. In the following space, there is a central discourse area and a presentation area for communication. It is a space where many intellectuals can share their thoughts in accordance with the theme of freedom of the press. Finally, there is a free news seeding space to keep children interested.
